#28daysoflovepoems by Kiara Lee

Here I am, sitting with the moon yet again

Another starry night trying to make sense of

What is and what isn’t

The moon sees all

When my pen touches paper and

When my tears fall

Upon the pages of my notebook

Tears of joy and tears of gratitude because

I have the attitude of

‘At least I ain’t where I been’

The moon comforts me when I’m alone with my thoughts

A lunar love out of this world

Long distance but right here in my orbit at the same time

Embracing me, warmly and

Shining light on what’s hidden, deep down

A full moon is my favorite because it sticks around

Longer

Showing me myself

That’s what real love really does

So every night

After I feed my seed

We pray and I put her to sleep and

Then I feed myself the moon

Oh how I love the way it tastes

Everyday in February 2026, The House of Psalm will post an original poem about love — self-love, romantic love, parental love and so much more. #28daysoflovepoems | IG @thehouseofpsalm @kiaraleewrites
