The Smallest Playa In The Room

#28daysoflovepoems by Kiara Lee

The smallest playa in the room

He deceives and he lies and

He cheats on girlfriends, wives and

On life

Because he wants to feel something

The shadow of an injured kid who

Would do anything to feel big and

To feel like a man like other men so

He does everything under the sun

Against women

Against love

The momma didn’t care enough to set him straight

The daddy was the smallest playa in his heyday

My God, he didn’t stand a chance

The smallest man ever made

Look at him and his tiny fate

The smallest playa in the room

Not in stature, but in morals, in couth and

In truth

He goes on to wreak havoc on the women

How tragic

Because they think it is them when

The whole time it’s really him

God bless the smallest playa in the room

You gonna be the only one with you in the room

When you turn 80, 90, 102

You burned every bridge in your self-inflicted attacks

You stabbed every other person in their back

What a way to live

I hope God loves you

Because nobody else does

Play on playa

Maybe one day you’ll learn how to love

Everyday in February 2026, The House of Psalm will post an original poem about love — self-love, romantic love, parental love and so much more. #28daysoflovepoems | IG @thehouseofpsalm @kiaraleewrites
