#28daysoflovepoems by Kiara

How dare you accept anything less

Than a man shouting your name and his love for you

In the streets

So loud

It shakes the ground

So loud

It rattles this earth

So loud

It shatters this warped world we live in

That told you that no man wants to say your name with his chest

Don’t you know?

Love is a song not to be whispered

Love is a poem

It’s a ballad

You just ain’t heard it quite yet

Oh how the world tries to trick and deceive

I hate how the world lied to you

Brainwashed you to believe that

Love is just make believe that

Fairytales don’t look like you and

That they don’t look like me

Fiction written by fallacy

The classic girlhood tragedy

Everyday in February 2026, The House of Psalm will post an original poem about love — self-love, romantic love, parental love and so much more. #28daysoflovepoems | IG @thehouseofpsalm @kiaraleewrites
