Fly

#28daysoflovepoems by Kiara

When I fly

He

Holds me down

Don’t hold me up

What a blessing

He rooted in himself

No questions

No second guessing

He rooted

He don’t need no help with

Feeling whole

Feeling human

He don’t need to put me down

To feel like a man

He already a man

Damn

When I fly

He lifts me up

Go baby go

He say

And then I spread my wings

And then I do my thing

Damn

He love it when I fly

Everyday in February 2026, The House of Psalm will post an original poem about love — self-love, romantic love, parental love and so much more. #28daysoflovepoems | IG @thehouseofpsalm @kiaraleewrites
